This is a chapter from the book “A Working Dog’s Tale” written by Vince Raw and told through the eyes of his Springer Spaniel, Bess who refers to Vince as Dad. It is a tale where dogs talk to each other and one of Bess’ companions on the shoot is an Irish Water Spaniel called Paddy, who tends to swear like a trooper (you have been warned!!!).
