Young male Irish Water Spaniel Requires new home. (posted 7 Jan 2010)
We are looking to find a suitable home for a three years old male Irish Water Spaniel.
Only experienced, knowledgeable persons will be considered for this young fella who requires a considerable amount of training.
Please contact Louise using the details above for more information.

Foster Homes.

The Sporting Irish Water Spaniel Club has now set up a scheme to help any "rehome" dogs, or any members' dog(s) who may be in need of a temporary home.
We can usually place rescue dogs from home to a new home, but, should the need arise it would be nice if we could place in a "foster" home if a permanent place is not readily available.

Sometimes a member has to be "hospitalised" due to illness, or has to be away from home in the case of an emergency for days, or a week or so.

In February 2008 the scheme placed its first IWS into a temporary foster home whilst the owners find a new home to buy.

We are looking for people with a good knowledge and experience of dogs (and IWS if possible) who could offer a temporary home to a member, this would be a service to help the member, so no payment(s) would be involved.

If you can, or could help, please offer your details to our Welfare Co-ordinator, Louise Bailey (details below) Thank you.

If you require someone to foster your IWS then please get in touch.
